Pre-Job

Site Survey & Risk Assessment

A Level 3 Supervisor walks the rooftop and plant room before a single rope goes over the edge. Every anchor point is load-tested. Every glass panel type is documented. We don't improvise at height — the risk assessment is the job.

Technique

Anchor point mapping, façade material identification, wind load assessment

Standard

IRATA Code of Practice §4.2 · BS 8454

Timeframe

1–2 days before mobilisation

Rope Rigging & Safety Setup

Two independent ropes. Always. The working line descends the technician; the safety line catches them if it fails. Harnesses are checked by a second operative before anyone clips on. Every knot is documented in the job log.

Technique

Twin-rope system, independent working line & safety line, rated anchor devices

Standard

IRATA Level 2 minimum · EN 341 equipment

Timeframe

Section-by-Section Wash

We work in numbered sections mapped to the risk assessment. Pure water at under 10 parts per million leaves no mineral spotting. Squeegees are drawn in a single controlled stroke. Each section is signed off before the rope moves down.

Technique

Pure water fed pole for frames, squeegee-and-detailing on glass, no chemical residue

Standard

WFP TDS < 10ppm · BSRIA BG29

Timeframe

1 floor per operative per 2 hours

Phase 04
Completion

Final Inspection & Sign-Off

The supervisor walks the perimeter with binoculars while the crew de-rigs. Any streak or missed section is re-accessed before we leave. A photographic record is handed to the property manager. If anything shows within 48 hours, we come back. No charge.

Technique

Ground-level binocular check, polarised light inspection for streaks, photographic record

Standard

Client sign-off sheet · 48-hour callback guarantee
